Engine Swap Help

Hi guys, i really need some help here. I own a 2002 P5 and i want to put something faster in it. I'm not to sure of what fits, and whats the best. If you have stories about engine swaps or rebuilt engines, help me out. If not i might look into MSP engines or something with a little more power. Open to all suggestions

I am going to give you an advice that will save you headache and keep you satisfied, Do not remove the stock P5 engine, do something even smarter, add a turbo kit to it, and it will perform as the mazdaspeed.

Haha, well my engine is actually blown, so i dont want to scrap my car because i have a lot of hours spent into this car. I saw that the klze engine fit in it. is there any problems with that?

It bolts in, but of course it's not that simple. Read through this: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123731194-KLZE-how-to and you will prob just put another FS in. lol

You can swap a KL in there. Thats a pretty good choice, its fairly simple.

Ight, thanks guys. So a 94 mx-6 has the klze engine?
Because i found a 94 for 500 on craigslist

a 94 mx-6 j-spec has it, make sure it is j-spec otherwise it would be a klde

I also want to put a klze in my p5, but I wasn't sure how difficult of a swap it is

It is not difficult to install a klze inside the engine bay of Proteg5!

It is even ridiculously easy!

There's just the electronics that is more difficult but with bases in electricity it easy to install!

I was done it myself! 1 weekend one guy has everything!

All this done in July before painting in October!

Once completed a sound clip!
