Engine rpm after service

I just had my major timing belt service last week on my sedan (with an a/t). Not sure if I'm being paranoid, but since that I've noticed that the engine seems louder and now sits at 3000 rpm at highway speeds (70 - 75 mph) - I'm sure it used to drop down a bit and not drone as much.

Any ideas?!
