Engine rebuild possibility

:
Mazda P5
There's a junkyard that I got my intake manifold from off of a car that had the butterfly screw fell out and got sucked into the engine. They told me the engine was bad but when they handed me the manifold something was loose inside of it and i realized the vics came loose.
Im pretty sure that this was the issue for the engine going bad.
My question is, would it be possible to rebuild this engine completely if I got it machined. Would there be anything that this problem would of damaged other than the spark plugs and scratched cylinder walls.

Also, besides the possible screw damage to the piston, cylinder walls, there is also possibility of damage to the valve and valve seat depending on how quickly and accurately it went thru the combustion chamber.
