Dupicolor Shadow Chrome Blackout Kit

I was watching Gears and they showed this Dupicolor kit and was wondering if anyone has used it??? Was thinking about getting a set of stock chrome rims and using this stuff on them. Thought it would look pretty good.

wouldn't trust chrome in a spray can. you probably get what you pay for

it's not supposed to be chrome. You spray it over existing chrome, and it is supposed to give it a shadowy translucent effect.

Maybe use it on chrome headlights? Might be a bit hot in there for this though.

I was wondering how it would look over wheel silver, if it might look like the Hyper Silver paint that nobody has.

When i saw it on gears the guy was using it on chrome valve covers because it can with stand temps of 500*F but again i dont know if this stuff works but for 16 bucks it might be worth a try......
