Do the 2.0s have fuel cut off?

I'm pushing my car to get the best MPG possible. So far, I'm approximately at 700kilometers for a tank which is decent for my car I guess. One thing that I'm wondering though is if the 2 litres have "fuel cut off" when releasing the accelerator while still being in gear. Is there still petrol being put in the engine when I'm coasting in a gear? My car is manual. I know more recent cars have this feature that must save some fuel, but I've always wondered on my own car.

Thanks for helping

Most obd2 cars do cut fuel when coasting but it doesn't cut all of it if that's what your asking

yes, it does.

i have a narrow band air/fuel idiot light gauge in my car, and i can watch it go full rich when i stomp on the accelerator, and go full lean when i let off.
