I would assume all you needed to do was to let the rear of the Mazda sit in the sun or use a hairdryer to heat up the badges. then use dental floss to remove the badge. It was pretty easy when i debadged my Subaru. I have also been wanting to do this. Car would look a lot cleaner from the rear.
