Dead Koni FSD

Just reporting in that a rear Koni FSD is dead. Didn't even make it a year, so it's no silver bullet. It's covered under warranty, but still a PITA.

I also found out that the aftermarket control arm, which the tire shop broke and charged me for, already has a bad ball joint. The OEM Mazda part is going back on.
 
At least it was a rear. 1 hr tops if you garage it regularly.

As I have said in my other thread, I didn't buy aftermarket front LCAs. Fear of things like this keep me using OE unless something beefier shows up for less. Unfortunately, I found out too late that I could have kept the OE ball joints and bought boots instead of new ball joints and paying $20 each to press them. :grumble:
