Picked up a P5 for my girl`s 16th Bday last year
2002 P5 auto 170000kms , great Lil car for Her .
told her about CEL etc . to let Daddy know & I will fix it ,bla bla bla .

This week She has been drivin Mom`s New Mazda6?????
Whats wrong with your car Pumpkin?????? I ask
"Daddy Purse Light & Wrench light are both on & I filled it up with gas twice & its less than 1/4 full again & I only drove to the Mall"

Purse light is washer fluid low indicator ---looks like a purse I guess ?????
CEL is code po455 that I cant clear ????

Anyway I fill car today & I drive it hard all day
Only put 52kms on it & refilled with 6 liters
11.54l/100km = 24.5 mpg imp I think
Not great but accepable IMOP as I was drivin the s*** out of it like She would I believe ?

Think I am gettin snowballed here ??????
Cud someone be fibbin Daddy?????(eyeballs)

What do U experts think????
 
well considering mine gets bag ass for milage, mind you ive recentlty boosted the pig and what not, and even before that i have issues with my VICS/VTCS and my iac, BUT i also have no 02 sensors.

did you try tightening the gas cap.
 
oh and heres some potentials i can list off the top of my head.

Purge solenoid valve malfunction

-Canister drain cut valve (CDCV) malfunction

-Loose, missing or defective fuel filler cap

-Charcoal canister malfunction

-Catch tank malfunction

-Check valve malfunction

-Rollover valve malfunction

-Cracked fuel tank

-Fuel tank component parts poorly installed

-EVAP hose damaged or loose

-Fuel tank pressure sensor malfunction
 
You'd have to be leaking gas more or less to use 20 gallons for 1 trip to and from a mall. *shrug* I get better than that full throttle all day at the race track. I run without an evap system venting into atmosphere and the amount in vapor lost is so small its not noticeable.

How does the car smell? Is there a visible leak of any kind underneath the car?
 
No leaks visible, or smell of fuel , It runs great as well.
It also has been low on oil on several occasions ,like none on dipstick.?????
Must be burning it as there are no leaks? But it doesnt look like it when following it .
I switched it back to Dino Oil as I was using 5/20 syn in all the other newer vehicals
Time for me to get familier with Fuel Tank emission systems I guess .
Got new struts comin today for rear that She & I can install

Someone could have stolen her gas

As for the code could just be a bad gas cap if you replace it get it from Mazda not a parts store
 
Doubt that fuel was stolen, gas door locks . Me thinks money was spent at The Mall.
Any hoo I am currantly trying to loosen the swaybar link , lots of rust .
UPS man hasn't showed up yet with shocks .
Ordered them yesterday, shipped out of Calgary to Stoon, I am impressed with these guys
Way better than getting POed at the CTire parts counter Kid.
 
PB blaster a day before... helps with those endlink bolts many people fight rust with them and have to hacksaw them off

Ran to dealer & picked up a pair of those *##*ing swaybar links ....
Its goin to feel great sawzallin the crap out of them , guess I cud go get a nutsplitter????
Service manual still slowwwwly downloadin ZZZZZZZZ...
