Oh, ok. So they help determine what kind of sound the exhaust makes? Is this a total custom job?

No... They are usually there from the factory to help reduce turbulance or resonance in the intake. The exhaust sound is all in the pipes and header configuration.

Finished the headrest monitors, intake and exhaust- here are the pics:

I would like to know what you did for the exhaust tips. I am not a big fan of the stock look. It tends to look offset to me. I like the dual tips.
