I know it is recommended to charge an EV battery to 80% thereby saving time and better battery longevity. However charging my CX-60 is linear and does not slow down past 80%. I am glad to start in the morning with 100% battery but do not want a degraded battery in a year or two. Is this 80% thing for this vehicle an overkill or should I follow the EV consensus?
