you are correct.. getting the down pipe tho will most likely void your warrenty.. if u do some searching you should be able to find everything u need

What are your opinions on the CPE cat back exhaust? They have 2 options
1) a single exhaust http://www.cp-e.com/2031.html
2) a dual exhaust http://www.cp-e.com/2106.html

Clearly there is a cost advantage going with the single but would there be a performance advantage?

Has anyone had experience with the dual exhaust? (is it notably quieter)

What other manufacturers do you recommend that make a "quiet" performance exhaust?

My goal is to make the speed 6 as modified as possible without ruining its daily driver characteristics.

If you get the CP-e downpipe, you do not need a test pipe. The test pipe replaces the stock second cat which is replaced with all downpipes (except the Corksport where you will need a 3" test pipe, or reuse your stock cat)

I bought the full deal with a cat. Dude installing the DP is a pain in both butt cheeks at the same time....while slipping on ice...in the dark.
