Couple questions about replacing turbo on 2010 AWD.

Newbie here. Done alot of reading but have a couple questions in regards to how to replace a turbo on a 2010 AWD cx7.

I have the typical white smoke issue. Turbo seals are gone. Im at 103k so not under warranty anymore, so im about to change the $$*&%( thing myself. (rockon)


Can someone tell me if you have to remove the transaxle or drop it on the AWD model. im trying to figure out if i can do this in my driveway or if its too involved for a weekender like myself.

you dont need to remove anything but the turbo itself from above, i have seen people do it here in NJ, also, have you tried a banjo bolt and change to rotella oil before replacing the whole unit?
or is the turbine fully shot and damaged?>
