CorkSport Mazda3 Short Shifter on Mazda5?

Has anyone successfully installed the Mazda3 short shifter (link) from CorkSport in their Mazda5?
I emailed the reps to see if they could verify fitment and they said that it might fit, but they hadn't tested it before. I am hoping the shifter base bushings will fit as well.

Not sure if anyone has tried to do this with great success or not. I would be willing to test, but dropping $250 on something with CS's strict return policy isn't something I want to gamble on.

I did not test it, sorry! I ended up going with JBR's short shift plate and bushings.

I haven't yet installed the shifter base bushings, but the short plate is nice. I did a little write-up in my build thread.
