Well,
As some of you know, and the rest of you now know, the institution of marriage has claimed yet another victim. That's right your very own VP Mike (hawaiian_msp) gave up his oh so pimp like lifestyle this morning. (J/P Joy)
Seriously, as anyone who has met them knows, these two are so made for each other it's just plain silly. It's really great to see them finally tie the knot and make it official.
It was a great ceremony that even the rain and a few unfortunate occurences on Friday's impromptu bachelor party couldn't dampen. It was held at the Hale Koa (House of the Warrior for the main-landers) in the garden. Fortunately, much of the garden is covered, as you'll see in the pics, since mother nature didn't play nice today.
Anyhow, congratulations once again Mike and Joy. Me, Aileen and the rest of M-SPEC wish you only the best in the future no matter where active duty and life may take you. It has been a great experience getting to know you both. Everyone else please feel free to add your congratulations whether or not you know Mike and Joy personally. That's what these forums are really about.
So, on with the pics:
Mike escorting his mother to the alter
The Bridal Party
Exchanging rings
The Kiss (Awww. lol.)
Cutting the Cake (They kept it civil. What fun is that?)
Tahitian Dancers (This is Hawaii after all.)
The Flower Toss (It's your turn next Chad. lol.)
The Garter Toss
The First Dance
