i have the same sound but just crossing the bumps, or brake hard...and it is on driver side, under my feet..

anyone knows how to fix this?

new bushings on the sway bars more than likely

I agree with bgibb68. I haven't had the sway bar bushing problem, but I understand that it's a popular issue with the P5. Could it be a bad struts? I just replaced my struts and that got rid of all the scary clunking noises I had.

That sounds familiar, mine has just started doing that too. Not quite that bad, but any noise like that sucks. Any fixes that are somewhat painless? At least for starters?

it's just a matter of getting the car up on jack stands and looking

struts
the strut mounts
bushing(control arm, sway bar)
endlinks

and that's just basic suspension
