was on my way to work from my other work and i was dead tired. Closed my eyes for like 2 seconds and the cars in front of me slammed on their breaks and i didnt. the car i hit didnt have insurance, but im still liable for some reason. THe wreck involved a honda civic (hahahahahha) and geo prism or something, and a nissan altima.....they only got paint scratches though, my car crumpled...the hood was ^ shaped, but my brother bent it back down so i can drive it to the body shop. It still runs fine, just not for long because of radiator and oil cooler damage...as you can see. 7331.00 quote, insurance is paying for it, other than my less than 500.00 deductible.

I don't know how that's 7K. My car rolled down a hill into the woods and part of the right side had to be cut out and welded back in...and the whole car repainted except for the hood and roof. It was only like 5.5K.

First, your oil cooler is not damaged. It is located under the motor next to the oil filter. The SMIC is what you are probably thinking of. Second, if you rear end someone you are ALWAYS at fault. Doesn't matter if the people in front of you wrecked or not. You have to keep a safe distance behind the cars that are in front of you, period.

Walked out to my car this afternoon to go out and saw paint on my front bumper, upon walking up to it I saw that somebody hit me and it cracked my front bumper, scuffed my headlight, and scuffed my fender. They didnt stop or leave a number or anything....assholes.

And I will tell you why its 7k.... needs new hood, radiator support, headlight mounting panel, both headlights, radiator, condenser, horn, front bumper, front bumper support, front bumper cushion, front bumper clips, passenger side fender, grille, looks like the top of the washer bottle is damaged. And after all those parts and the labor to take off and reinstall, including taking off the passenger side wheel and side skirt along with the passenger side fender skirt which may also be damaged, you still need to seal and paint the fender, hood and bumper. Then so the paint matchs they will most likely blend the driver side fender, and passenger side door. All that work adds up.

And I BOOST sounds with all the new fancy spot weld tools and what not they have today you can cut off and then put a full new quarter on a car in a days work easy.

hehe, some of my first mods in the first 6-8 months of owning my car was 2 nails in my tire 2 weeks apart from each other. the 2nd nail was only an inch away from where the 1st nail punchured a hole. found 3rd nail before upgrading wheels/tires. rock to the windshield in the 2nd month. while my car was parked in a parking lot, some lady hit it with her SUV and got my bumper stuck to her SUV. as she drove away it pulled half my bumper with it. she didnt even bother to leave name/number, she got out to see the damange & drove home. luckily witnesses captured her license plate & cops got involved. yay!
