CF Hood Restoration

ok so i needed to do something about my hood. It was seriously rock chipped and pitted and starting to rust. I was lucky enough to find someone selling one for a protege super cheap. Only problem was that it had some MAJOR clouding in the clear coat. looked like someone had spilled milk on it and let it dry there. So today I went after it to see if i could get it cleaned up. Started out with wet sanding with 1500 grit sand paper, then wet sand at 2000 grit. Then we washed it and moved onto using the buffer with a light polishing compound. Washed it again and moved onto a cleaning carnuba wax (2 coats) And this is what you get . . .

Ive also lowered it on Racing Beat springs, and tinted it since you guys last saw it

Looks good but unless you get it recleared it will come back..

Ill probably end up reclearing it at some point but for now im happy

Looks good but unless you get it recleared it will come back..

+1 just had to reclear my cf spoiler again cause the first time was a horrible job and i had stripped the clear after it failed, just got tired of buffing the cloudy spoiler so often..
