Girlfriend was in traffic and had been in stop and go traffic for an hour plus. As she was driving someone pulled out in front of her and she had to slam on brakes to avoid hitting the other car. When traffic started to move she pressed the gas and it hesitated and didnt move. She put it in second gear ( automatic) and it still didnt want to move. It revved up and then jerked forward. I was thinking maybe the transmission was in the process of shifting gears when she had to come to a sudden halt and it was stuck in that gear. Or am I off? I have driven it a few times to see if I could make it repeat and have had no luck. Any ideas?
