Can't Figure Out The Problem?

Hi guys,

Im new to the mazda family and also to turbo cars. I recently bought a 2007 speed3.

So my problem is, I was trying to see how the turbo feels in the car while driving. I was in second gear and gave it some gas and around 5k revs the car kinda gives out and acts as if the turbo stops spooling? it kinda jerks the car. it doesn't occur all the time only sometimes. the car runs fine when driving normally, only when i want to give it gas does it do this but not all the time.

I was doing some research on it and thinking it may be like fuel cut or something? The car is completely stock but has a exhaust system on it. not sure what kind.

If anyone could help that would be great.

Is the car stock or does it have aftermarket mods, and if so, list them.

Once we know how you are setup we can go from there.
