Camshaft Dowel Pins

I couldn't get the dowel pins out of the old cams and damaged them in the process. From what I've measured, it looks they are like M4x15. I can find them online if I buy 100, but I just need 2. The one machine shop I tried wasn't helpful. I tried CarQuest and they did not have metric sizes. Looking at the Mazda parts fiche, the pins do not show up. Does anyone have suggestions?

I believe he is reffering to the pins that locate the cam gears.

I will sell you my cams and you wont have to worry about it....

I think he is talking about the sleeves that guide the bolts of the upper cam bracket to the head, just my opinion. And those are a PIA to find. If anyone has a link of were to buy them I would be very interested as well.

If you live by a Fastenal store you can get them to order any quantity for you. You might even be able to get them shipped to your house, but shipping will probably cost more then the pins. Also they only have 14mm or 16mm long.

Looking for the locating pins between the end of the camshafts the pulleys.

speedin - Thanks for the offer, but I have 2 sets of stock cams, don't need another. I'm installing some cams from Wagner Motorsports that I've had sitting on a shelf for years.
