Caliper Specs

I searched but not much came up.

Does anyone know all the specs for our calipers?
Piston size?
Caliper mouting specs (bolt size, width between mounting holes on center)?
Rotor size and thickness?

If anyone has a spare front caliper laying around they could measure for me, that would be great. MSP or regular P5 calipers.

Ok so far from searching around I found this:

Rotor Size: Front/Rear
258mm/261mm (P5)
274mm/280mm (MSP)
MSP has the same front rotors as a 626 V6 & Mazda6 (rears also for mazda6).

Piston Bore: Front/Rear
***mm/30.1mm (P5)
***mm/34.93mm (MSP)
Both calipers have same piston bore size in front, MSP has larger pads.
MSP has 16.046% larger pistons in rear.

Brake Pad Size: Front/Rear
4800mm2/2700mm2 (P5)
5300mm2/3200mm2 (MSP)
MSP has 500mm or 10.416% larger pad surface area in front & rear.
Pad thickness for both brakes is 10mm/8mm front & rear.
MSP has the same front pads as a 626 V6.

Now what I really need is the rotor thickness for each system, Front piston bore, and specs for the caliper mounting locations if anyone has it.

Ask Blackprotege5 aka Bryan, he replaced his for MSP calipers if I'm correct.

I plan on making my own brake kit (non msp), so I need to make sure it fits (caliper mounting specs), and that it has more braking power (Piston bore/Pad surface area).

Mainly I need the measurement between the 2 caliper mounting bolts on center and the bolt size(14mm???).

Thanks.

I measured the caliper mounting bolt distance awhile ago and it was ~6.30"

Awesome, thanks.

The caliper mounting bolts are 14mm right?
Last but not least, does anyone know the front piston diameter for either the regular Protege or the MSP since their the same.

you posted this:
Piston Bore: Front/Rear
***mm/30.1mm (P5)
***mm/34.93mm (MSP)

You'll want to double check my measurement btw. I pulled it from a CAD drawing I made to mock up Wilwood parts and it may be a few hundredths off.

I would trust the info Edwin provided. The 6.30" caliper mounting hole distance is the measurement I suggest you double check.

I posted up a bunch of Wilwood part numbers and specs in a thread called "Big Brakes" started by yellerandahalf.
