buying one strut

I bought Koni yellows a few years back, and the right rear has blown all the oil out. It's useless. No obvious signs of wear on the left rear. 30K or so miles on both.

Do I just buy one strut to replace the blown one or do I need to buy both new rear struts?

doesn't koni have a life warranty on those things?

i would at least replace them in pairs, but that's me.

Yes, Koni has a lifetime guarantee, but it's worthless. You can only get the strut repaired or replaced AFTER you send in the strut and all mounting parts, as well as proof of purchase, blah, blah, blah. How do I get around while I am waiting for Koni to determine if the blown strut is covered, then wait for them to repair or replace it. Worthless.

I think I'll go with 2 new struts.
