Bug shield

Bumpers should be sticked on the shield, not on the hood.

When you remove the bug shield, do you just leave the 4 bumpers on the hood? I just worried that they will come off without the shield in place. Does anyone know whether I can order more of the bumpers just in case?

Did you use anti-corrosion paint after you made the drills? If so, where can I find a bottle of this?

I usually just use the touch-up paint.
As long as the exposed area are shielded from air/water, rust is not likely to develop there since it is not exposed to water regularly.
Yes, if you can find a bottle of anti-corrosion, by all means, use it.

No by manufacturer the bumper should be on the metal hood not on the shield if it on the shield it will crack the bug shield for reason so not recommend
Just installed it and regret it and waste money. Bugs it still stick a lot at front bumper and windshield ,so do not even buy and install this Mazda bug deflector my is 2012 CX9 GT
5-28-2012 I just installed it month ago ,it a piece of trash waste money ,times .Bugs still on windshield and front bumper and I got tired of it ,so anybody think install it forget this .
