Brake light problem

I've got the brake warning light nearly all the time. Pretty sure it's just the E-brake engaged warning, because I can get it to go off sometimes by pulling hard on the E-brake, and releasing it. In addition, i don't have any mushiness when I apply the brakes, so I don't think I'm gonna have a failure, It's just annoying. Anybody know where the sensor is?

The dashboard brake light can turn on either if the parking brake is applied OR if the brake fluid is low. Check the brake fluid first. It's normal for brake fluid to go down a bit over time as the pads wear. Alternately there could be a leak in the system.

^after this (assuming it checked good) is to adjust the switch at the base of the emer brake handle.
