Bought my new speakers

They get installed in the morning. Ill let yall know how it sounds.

I got kenwood excelon everything.
5 channel amp: xr900-5
front and rear speakers: kfc-x183c
and the subs are: kfc-xw12.

amp might blow the subs but car shop already said they will replace them with JLs if it happens.
 
If your amp blows your speakers...it is no fault of the speakers and would do the same to JL Audios too. If it is tuned properly, if you don't go turning up the radio's bass eq, and if your music is not crap downloads from some online music sharing website, your speakers...especially if they are Excelons, will handle the power just fine. JL Audios would sound better, especially if you went to a component system. But people come to me all the time telling me their amp keeps blowing the speakers which is simply not true. It is almost always poor tuning or a heavy right hand on the volume knob. I have run 150 watts continuous (Alpine PDX4.150) on JL TR575cxi (rated 75 W) and never had a problem.
