boost on stock mp3?

its possible. i ran a kit for about 30k miles. i finally blew the engine so i just got rid of it.

See link below, only thing you should worry about is our advance timing. I simply swapped ECUs with a stock ES and ran a stand-alone ECU. It is said simply but there's around $1k in that sentence in parts. IF you are gonna do it might-as-well get the best stuff!

If you can find a kit that boosts around 6PSI with spikes staying under 10, it should be pretty safe but nothing is guaranteed.

Something like the HiBoost kit ?? Im looking to boost my MP3 also and thats what I've been eyeing....... running on stock internals...

on a turbo car, engine management is very important. tune is everything. it's not like bolt-on pieces for a N/A motor that people don't even tune.

a turbo for your mp3 is a great idea, just have it tuned by someone who cares.

you'll need e.m. that will allow you to tune both timing and fuel, and a boost controller.
