BMW i-drive

Although it may not be perfect now, it's a step towards the inevitable. You probably wont be able to buy a car without 10 million functions, unless you buy one with only 1 million, and that's considered a classic. I read an intresting article that said the only people pissed off by idrive are the ones who think they should be able to operate any car without reading a manual or instructions. Sounds like ownage to me.

I know you were. who can ever be upset at Portugal? We're like a big ol cuddly teady bear full of nails inside so you dont squeeze us to hard

Actually, the i-Drive isn't that bad. I had my boss' 02 745i for a week, and I had no problems with it. It's pretty intuitive after the first day. Other than the fuel economy, the car was great.
