Blown Tire

Today while driving to my girlfriends house I started smelling burning ruber. I opened my windows and heard a slight thumping sound but couldn't figure out what it was. I then looked in my left side mirror and saw a peice of tire flapping around as the wheel rotated. When I pulled over the tread was almost complety off the rim and lots of bits of ruber fell out of the tire.

The tire only had 23150 miles on it so I don't know if I hit something or what. I took pictures but haven't uploaded them yet. Already placed my order for 4 new Yokohama Prada Spec-2s.

The Yoko Parada Spec 2's are good tires....the ES 100's are even better...and pretty much the same price. They are quieter than the Spec 2's also.

I think the reviews I read on tirerack have the spec 2 a little beter.
