Black Smoke on WOT. Can a HT or AP fix this?

I get black smoke on WOT, can a HT or AP fix this? I do have the oil filter conversion on my car & I know it wasn't perfectly flat when it was put on & leaks a lil. I kinda doubt its that causing the smoke though I'm sure under WOT, the oil would probably get a lil thinner & could leak out easier. Oh yeah, I have a TurboXS race & downpipe, I did have smoking issues after I put it on but have got them all cleared up at the dealership. Just wanna know if get a HT (preferably) or AP coul dor would clear up my smoke on WOT? I am running one step colder Denso plugs too with a CP-e CAI.

Yep, it's not your filter conversion that's the issue.

It's not as simple as yes or no. Every car is different though, the stock tune is really rich. It's still rich with any canned tune but, the AFRs are likely to be less obnoxiously so. I don't have any smoke issues under WOT, on fully bolted, with HT.

AP, if you use ATR, could theoretically tune this out but, there is a significantly increased risk if the tuning is mishandled. You are best to determine your own ability/motivation in this area.
