I have a 2018 CX-5 that I purchased about a month and a half ago.
Just today while in a car wash bay, I noticed this white chipping along one side of the front bumper.
It appears as though the black paint or something is chipping and there is white underneath it. This shocked me as I though these pieces were solid black plastic. I tried spraying it, but it doesn't appear to be something that could wash off. I scratched at it a bit and made one chip a bit bigger, which appears to confirm this is some kind of chipping?
Has anyone seen this before? Anything I could do?
I am familiar with the Crystal Soul Red being very chip prone, and have an appointment in July to have it touched up and ceramic coated (really like the red so want to preserve it) but this is new.
