2018 CX-5 Rattle in driver’s side vent

2018 CX-5 I have a rattle in the drivers side vent on the left side of the steering wheel.

This is making me crazy. Anyone have a fix for this?

Are any of the vent flaps broken? Anything fallen or been placed inside the vent? We have not had this issue on ours, so just guessing.

You should be able to remove the vent housing and take a look. You should be able to find a youtube video that shows how to remove or at least pull the vent cover out.

None of the flaps are broken from what I can see. It all looks good but that awful rattle is driving me crazy.

I looked for a video and couldn’t find one that tells me how to remove the housing on the a/c vent on the drivers side. Frustrating!

The panels above and below the vent just unclip, then the vent itself is held by 3 screws. Very easy.
