Alright,

I wanted to first say that I am a Nerd.
I live in Canada which prevents me from doing Tuning as a Year Round Hobby... and I HATE Cold... So Computer Games seem to be a good outlet.

Honestly. I have been waiting since 2005 for BF3 and it is here!

I was Invited to Alpha Test, Pre Beta Test, Open Beta Test. I Played the s*** out of the Alpha and Beta

The Game is INSANE. I also want to say, Do Not compare it to Call Of Duty. They are as different as a Nascar and an Indy Car.. Both are Perfect Racing Machines, with a different Goal.

Tanks, Planes, Choppers, Boats, Quads, APC, IAFV
FULL DESTRUCTION - In COD, you have to use a Door... Here, You make one with a M203.

The Graphics are the best I have ever seen.

Some of my friends have a Server and a Squad [ENEMY CONTACT]

Battlefield 3 (commonly abbreviated to BF3) is a first-person shooter action video game, being developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and to be published by Electronic Arts. The game is set to be released on October 25, 2011 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and EA Mobile confirmed a port for the iOS platform. It will not support versions of Windows prior to Windows Vista. It is a direct sequel to 2005's Battlefield 2, and the eleventh installment in the Battlefield franchise. The PC release will be exclusive to EA's Origin platform.

Battlefield 3 will feature the maximalist combined arms battles that made the series popular across single-player, co-operative and multiplayer modes. It will reintroduce several elements absent from the Bad Company games, including fighter jets, the prone position and 64-player battles on PC. To accommodate the lower player count on consoles, the ground area will be limited for Xbox 360 and PS3, though fly space will remain the same.

During an interview with GameInformer Magazine, EA stated that Commander Mode is unlikely to be included, which was met with some criticism on the EA forum.

The game will feature maps set in Paris, Tehran, Sarajevo, Sulaymaniyah, New York, Wake Island and Oman.[citation needed] As a whole, combat will take place in urban streets, metropolitan downtown areas, and open landscapes suited to vehicle combat.

I've been COD since Mw1. . . And honestly contemplating bf3. . . From the research I've done so far, I am leading that way. . . do you have personal input on the game or a biased player as I am w/ COD?

I won't lie.. I Played a Lot of BF2...

then COD MW came out and I played that for a year.. Then Didn't like CODWAW, but played it, Didn't Really like MW2 because of the server system, but played it, Played a Lot of Battlefield Bad Company 2.. But It wasn't BF2... Black Ops is Meh...

BF3 is Awesome, and Will probably keep my attention for 2 years or more like BF2 Did.

The problem is Activision Pumps out one of these a year. They are using the same game engine because they don't have time to make a new one..

It's been 5 Years for BF3 to come out... The Engine is Cutting Edge current... Everything Looks Fantastic, The game play requires Thought...

If you like Teamwork, Squad Based Effort, and actual Tactics... then BF3 will be fun... If you only like to shoot the same people the same way then stick with COD.

... Buildings that can be destroyed.... Is Awesome... No Camping...

I play a lot of BF3... sadly on xbox. They did a pretty good job on scaling everything down a bit for the console version, but there are definitely times where I just wish we had 32 players per side.
