Timing belt would not break a motor..

didnt say it would. timing belt would cause a engine to stop running and no matter how many times you crank it over, it wont start and it will also throw a cam position sensor code.

Wow, a used FS for $1000!?? I've bought my last three for under $300 and this last one was only $120 with a warranty...

where are these motors at, i cannot find any used one locally, remans are 2500+, currently im looking at buying one with bad body damage but 58k miles for 3,000 but 120 is definatly a winner

well bought the other car last night, time for motor swapping to begin =) got 1 of every extra part i need plus, bigger turbo, headers, and 3" stright exhaust =)

The one I got for $120 had 55k on it, the one prior to that for $300 had 40k (supposedly), and the other prior to that was 120k for FREE.

For real! Wherever you're getting these engines you gotta let us know!
