Back up camera failed? 2019 CX-5 GT

:
Mazda CX 5 Touring
Today my backup camera failed. All I saw when in reverse was a blank screen with an icon for settings in the upper left. I "clicked" on it and several settings came up but nothing seemed to work. I pushed the red window that said reset and nothing happened. This is a 2019 Grand Touring with @ 47,000 miles. Anyone else have an experience like this or have any advice?

Try resetting the infotainment system. Do a search of this forum, there's info on resetting somewhere.
You have to hold a combination of keys at the same time to trigger the reset.

The system rectified itself. After parking at home I went out later and it was working. Leaves the question as to what happened. Thank you!

I would first suspect something wasn't happy with battery voltage. Then later after engine running charging things up everything at a happy voltage. 2019 is approaching 4 year old battery now.

Had this problem about a year after I got the car. Back up camera intermittent.
Dealer updated the info software (under warranty), and no problems since.
