Hey guys,
I'm at the end of the install on an aftermarket head unit and had a few questions on installing the ASWC-1 in the CX-5. For those who have installed it successfully, did you get the call pick up/end call buttons working or only the audio buttons?
Also, on the install instructions from Axxess, it indicates that two wires need to spliced in to (labelled 1P and 1N). I take it this photo is from the OEM Mazda harness, and not from the Metra harness right (if that's the case, that's kind of a bummer, didn't want to modify the original harness at all but oh well)?
Did you guys peel off the tape on the cable and cut through the cable wrap to access these wires? I would think you'd have to as there's very little wire exposed to the harness plug.
