What do I need to get started? I think I'll go to the event on the 26th.
a helmet would help but beyond that nothing man. just show up and take anything that will move out of your car and then run. Get there as early as possible so u can walk the course at least 4 times. As a new guy your biggest prob will be finding your way through the cones. Ifu can get the course memorized b4 u go then u will be that much faster. Most noobs get there walk it once and end up DNF'ing a couple times.

also remember to look ahead in the course...the easiest way to DNF is to just focus on the gate you are going through and hot being set up for the next corner. walk the course with someone who has been doing it before. also talk to everyone and anyone you can...you will learn things much faster that way.
