Sorry if this might be a newbie question but.....
I'm thinkin of buying an aftermarket alarm system on my 3 since it only has the engine immobilizer. But would getting a new alarm mean that I would have to take out the factory immobilizer and replace the factory remote? Or would I have to carry around two different remotes (the factory keyless entry and the one for the alarm)? I've also heard of add-on alarms where you can hook up the alarm and still use the factory remote.
What types of alarms has everyone been putting on their 3's?
