Adding a sub to the bose system

Looking to get a Touring with Tech package (bose) and wanted to see what is involved to splice into the stock wiring to add an aftermarket amp/sub. In the past I did this with an aftermarket headunit so Im not familiar. I believe I need some sort of signal processor to allow this to work. Curious what I need but also if anyone else has done it with the bose system and pics, info, etc.

Thanks. I havent bought anything yet but good to know. Im buying tomorrow so it would be awesome to hear if this had worked successfully. Also a little unsure what I could fit in the back (especially if I go with a hatchback) but still have some portability to remove it when I need the space... Thanks
