Add me to the tick list

I've already done the stethoscope trick. Sounds like it's up high in the motor. Middle cylinder. Could just be a noisy injector. I've used sea foam in the last couple of weeks. No change. Haven't done the honey.

You should be able to isolate the noise pretty well with the stethoscope, more than just "up high". Put it over each cylinder on the valve cover, on the side of each on the block, on the oil pan, on the injectors, IAC, etc. You can usually tell which rocker arms, pistons/rods, injectors are noisier than others. Its amazing how the sound can change in just a few inches.

I've also had good results with the "Engine Restore" stuff.
