accesport and manual boost controler

there are certain maps with the accessport that negates the boost related fuel cut and thus negates the need for a MAP clamp
 
Ya, what Ken said. On my MS6 Cobb map I believe the boost cut is raised to 19.5 ... plus the Cobb ups the boost anyway so I don't think you need either the MBC or a clamp.
 
its really a bad idea even though it might work. i was going to try it but after taking my boost controller off and just using the AP, my boost seemed to hold even more steady and higher in the rpm range without any spike, plus with the MBC you cant really go WOT in 5th and 6th without over boosting. The AP manipulates the FBCS pretty darn well and you still have the benifits of ecu saftey features as well. with the MBC your taking a chance.
