Just purchased a 1998 Mazda b2500 4 cylinder 5 speed with 171k miles. All was well driving home 35-40 miles and once down the street from my house. I down shifted to 2nd to turn and the clutch pedal came up but the clutch did not disengage. I'm hoping the slave cylinder or master cylinder is bad but all my experience with those is when they are bad the pedal stays down. I will trouble shoot more tomorrow since I will preform a overall
