All of my Mazdas have had this feature (Canada). 2018 Mazda6, 2020 CX5, 2022 CX5

It turns on automatically when the rear window defroster is activated.

My 2010 mazda 3 has it as well definitely not a new feature.

Out of curiosity i checked a USA 2020 CX-30 brochure and i cannot see has mirror listed in it. But it has folding power side mirror. I would be surprised if those are not heated, but it is not specifically written.
