2019 CX-9 Engine compatibility?

We are all stuck between a rock and a hard place. I love my 2019 cx-9 GT and was my first “brand new” car. It currently has roughly 19k miles and hoping to keep it for as long as I can. Will it be cheaper to buy an updated cylinder head and have it swapped or buy a used engine with updated cylinder and have it installed?

No symptoms yet but I dont want to wait until the engine is toast if coolant gets to the engine. Trading it in is an option but no car payment is better

Oh man, that's some early planning. There is a chance that you are one of the lucky ones that won't ever be affected by this.

I believe it's cheaper to just replace the cylinder head vs full motor swap.

You're better off putting that money aside in an investment vehicle of some sort until "it happens" (if it even happens), then to go spend it up front.
