The text you posted is very vague. (i.e. up to interpretation)
From other sources, they all list 70% VLT front windows for CA.
BTW, 70% is very transparent.

For the safety of officers, I am all for more transparent front windows.
My main concerns are for the rear windows.
They are the most transparent to me, among all the vehicles I have owned.
(for privacy and UV protection)

I am not excited about the aero kit either. Just FYI if those interest you.

What do you mean the rear windows are the most transparent? I think the whole car has a very very light tint, probably 80-90%.

When I bought the car the dealer had just put 5% tint on the back windows. I didn't have to pay for it and took them off and put light/medium 45% all around. I used to like super dark tint all around when I was younger but I'm over that blackout look now. Looks classy with light/medium tint

Regardless, I'm going to get transparent tint on the windshield (UV protection) and medium tint all-around. I have an appointment to get the 3M carbon-nano tint on Monday. I can't wait, the bright December sun in California is killing me. (hah)
