Hi!
First post. Love the info on this forum.
I have a 2008 CX-9 GT with 133,000 miles that got stuck in the mountains in very little snow. I took it to my mechanic and sure enough, the transfer case and transmission went bad. They want to replace the transfer case and rebuild the transmission for a total price of $4,800.
In evaluating on whether I want to repair it or get rid of the car, I have a question for those that repaired the transfer case and transmission.
How has your new TC held up over time? I assume that there will always be the risk for future failures. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jason
