2005 Mazda 3s Random Cable/Plug

I removed the cupholder and boot in my Mazda3 and noticed that there is a white plug down there that isn't plugged into anything. It's right below the cigarette lighter on the floor. Does anyone know what this is for? I briefly looked and could not find anything that it should be plugged into.

if you have an aftermarket radio that could be an extra plug from the factory radio, the factory radio has 3 harnesses but aftermarket radios only use one of those harnesses
