Hello all, I’ll be replacing the valve seals, head gasket, timing belt, water pump etc. etc. on my 03 p5 and I’m swapping a new head on that I got from pick n pull that I head decked and cleaned up to make sure it was flat. Evidence suggests that the head gasket had already been done on donor car and most likely decked as well then. Do I need to worry about valve to piston clearance? I know rock auto sells a head shim for our cars. Do I need to purchase this? Any info/help would be really appreciated. Thank you
