Long time lurker. I'm actually the brother of this account and his 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege was blindsided by a drunk driver early in the morning sending both the drunk driver and my own brother to the hospital. He woke up in the ER and was home the next day with a few broken bones and crutches. Drunk driver on the other hand is probably handcuffed to her hospital bed....
Hes always delegated the car work to me so now I guess its time to weigh our options while we open a legal case and seek payment for all the damages caused.
Passenger front side was hit hard and has pushed the radiator support up against the turbo manifold. Rear passenger quarter was smashed in too which crushed the entire rear window.
I'm putting out a feeler for an entire car to be picked up in one go minus the Racing Hart wheels (my keepsake to be used on another Mazda). If this proves to be unsuccessful, we might consider parting it out which might yield more money but is time consuming to pull everything unique to this car (engine ,transmission, suspension, interior, branded items etc...).
The only mods were:
Injen Intake (stock intake in storage)
Revised rear swaybar bushing
