1995 Mazda Protege DX
My 1995 Protg DX is the 5 spd manual, without the tachometer. I plan to add a 2" tachometer to the driver's a-pillar, via "universal single 2 inch guage pillar pod"

Do any companies make a gauge pod specific for this year make/model? Or perhaps another make/model which fits?

I've read online the Protg, the escort, and the 323 shared these pillars, unfortunately I have yet to find a pod for sale, for either of these.

I thought I'd check with the community first, for awnsers. I will go the universal route if nothing else.

Thank You

Joe

Yeah thanks, saw that thread. Doesn't really help me, unless newer year protg pillar pods also fit onto the older models pillar posts...

An lx gauge cluster will work in a dx. Just find one that has relatively close mileage to yours.

If it doesn't work....run a wire from the diagnostic port purple/white wire and into one of the pins in wire harness for the gauge cluster. It will work.
