hello all, my names chris and i live in NorCal. about 6 months back i found a guy selling his mazda repu on craigslist and decided to take the plunge. it had a blown and rusted solid 13b and the rest of the drive train was'nt in much better condition but the body and intirior were workable and to me thats what matters. heres the part where i start making people mad haha. i happened to have a chevy 327 V8 laying around so i though why not? after many many hours of modification the truck now runs with the power of 8 cylinders running therough a TH350 transmission with a B&M quick shifter i had a custom drive shaft made to link up to the ford nine inch rear end with 3.50 gears and soon posi. i know a lot of you are thinking, WHY! but the truth is i have no clue how to work on nor the finances to handle a rotory engine , plus i wanted reliable power. so for those of you i didnt scare away here are some picks of what has come to be know as project REX.
